Theory Admission

Dual Degree
•Students seeking both a BM from Eastman and a BA/BS from UR must complete two separate applications
Placement
•Admitted students take written music theory and aural-skills placement exams during orientation for course placement only, not admission
Eligibility
•SAT/ACT scores not required
•Completion of high school required for enrollment
•TOEFL required for non-native English speakers (College Board code: 2224)
