•Eastman publishes Music Education – General as a distinct BM concentration with separate audit sheets for piano-primary and instrumental/voice-primary students
•The curriculum includes applied music, vocal ensemble, conducting, instrument-class choices, classroom instruments, early-childhood and elementary general music, choral study, and music for special learners
•Published minimums are 142 units for piano primary, 145 for voice primary, and 146 for other primary concentrations
Professional Development
•The concentration includes elementary and secondary student teaching plus a student-teaching seminar
•Eligible double majors may apply for Eastman's tuition-free ninth-semester FORTE student-teaching option
