Songs

THREE PIECES IN VARYING MUSICAL STYLES

•Must be in three different languages, one of which may be English

•Non-native English speakers must perform one piece in English

•Record each selection in a separate, unedited track

•Must be recorded with accompaniment

-In-person accompanist preferred

-High-quality piano accompanying app acceptable

-Pre-recorded accompaniment tracks acceptable

-Self-accompaniment at the piano acceptable

•Recordings must have been made within the past 12 months

Additional Materials

Slate Video

•Record a short introduction on a separate track

•State your name, the recording date(s), and list the selections recorded

Personal Statement

•Minimum one page, maximum five pages, double-spaced, 12-point font

•No specific prompt; share who you are beyond your application materials

•Must be your own original writing in English

Resume

•Upload within the application

Recommendations (2 required)

•One from a primary voice instructor, music teacher, conductor, or coach

•One from a high school academic teacher

•Optional third letter available for special circumstances

Transcripts

•Academic transcripts from each secondary school attended

•Grades 9 through 11 required

Repertoire List

•Comprehensive listing of significant repertoire studied in the last 5 years
