Requirements
•Perform your two strongest original songs; any popular music genre is acceptable
•Perform a short cover, 2 minutes maximum, from the approved list: "Hey Jude" (The Beatles), "Let It Be" (The Beatles), "I'm Yours" (Jason Mraz), or "Bubbly" (Colbie Caillat)
•Original songs, both music and lyrics, must be written by the applicant; co-written pieces are not appropriate
•Songs should be free of profanity and graphic imagery
Accompaniment
•Accompany yourself while singing for both originals and the cover
•Guitar amp, microphone, and piano are provided for on-campus auditions
•No a cappella singing
Lyrics
•Bring two copies of the lyrics to your original songs for an on-campus audition
