Audition Process
•Apply to UNI, then complete the online audition application to schedule your audition
•Prepare two memorized classical songs of contrasting style
•Audition in person or submit a video
Audition Expectations
•Perform repertoire with provided accompanist
•Brief interview with voice faculty
•Diagnostic exam to assess aural and sight-reading skills
•In-person audition required for full admission and scholarship consideration
•For students unable to come to campus on designated audition days
•Complete the online video audition request form
•The faculty interview and musicianship diagnostic exam are not part of the video audition
•Video auditions receive provisional admission only; re-audition at the end of the first semester for full admission
