Early Major Program
•Bullet: Allows freshmen to begin theatre training immediately instead of waiting until sophomore year
•Bullet: Application may be scheduled prior to university admission
•Bullet: Acceptance to the Department does not guarantee admission to UNCW
Early Major Audition
•Bullet: Interview required for all Early Major applicants
•Bullet: One monologue from a published play, 60-120 seconds required for Performance concentration
•Bullet: Submit application two weeks prior to requested audition date
Declaring the Major
•Bullet: Current UNCW students declare via MySeaport after completing 24 credits
•Bullet: Audition/interview highly recommended but not required for regular declaration
•Bullet: Eligible to audition for department productions from day one
