Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Minors can perform in weekly and seasonal events such as Live at Lunch, the UNCA Loves Piano Series, faculty showcase concerts, and Asheville Singers performances
•Bullet: Minors may join any of the department's ensembles — choir, orchestra, wind, jazz, bluegrass, and more — most of which require no audition to join
Facilities
•Bullet: Minors have access to the same Bob Moog Electronic Music Studio and Music Technology Studio used by majors, including the Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 mixing and mastering room
Degree Flexibility
•Bullet: The Music minor lets students outside the major complete a shorter sequence built around the 100-level Fundamentals courses (Class Piano, Class Guitar, Class Voice, or Class Percussion) plus music theory and aural skills electives, without an admission audition
