•Bullet: The 21-credit Percussion Specialist certificate prepares future percussion instructors for roles that can include pedagogy, arranging, show design, audio engineering and stage direction.
•Bullet: Class and applied Percussion, Instrumental Literature and Pedagogy, and composition provide the central performance, teaching and arranging foundation.
Technology & Production
•Bullet: Survey of Music Technology, Survey of Audio Recording and Live Production Technology address electronics, concert and marching production, and contemporary audio practice.
•Bullet: Rendering and Special Topics broaden the visual and project-based side of the curriculum. UNA designed the certificate to fit within elective hours of its BA or BS in Music.
