Training
•The 19-credit Actor Track is designed for students in theatre majors who want musical-theatre competencies in addition to their stage training.
•Four semesters each of applied Voice and participation in Opera/Musical Theater and Collegiate Singers develop the track's vocal component.
Musical Theatre Study
•Dance I and II, History of Musical Theater and a two-credit Special Topics course add movement, repertory context and focused advanced work.
•Across the certificate, acting, dance, theatre design, vocal pedagogy and performance, and musical-theatre history are shared learning areas, with the Actor Track allocating its coursework toward voice and ensemble study.
