Audition Expectations
•In-person audition required for all music majors and minors
•Online auditions accepted under special circumstances with area approval
•Accompanist provided at no charge for voice auditions

Voice
•Two memorized songs in contrasting styles with piano accompaniment
•First: "Caro mio ben" or selection from 28 Italian Songs and Arias, or art song/folk song in classical style
•Second: selection of your choice
•No choral selections
Piano
•Two contrasting works from standard keyboard literature
•At or above Bach two-part Inventions, Haydn/Mozart sonata movements level
•Memorized
Guitar
•Three pieces: one technical study and two from contrasting periods
•All but technical work memorized
Wind/Brass/Percussion
•One movement of a concerto or sonata, or two contrasting pieces
•Accompaniment not required
