Audition Expectations
•A successful audition on your principal instrument or voice is required for admission to all UMSL music degree programs
•In-person audition on a scheduled audition day; contact Prof. Corinne Stillwell (cstillwell@umsl.edu) to arrange an alternative time if needed
•Requirements vary by instrument — voice applicants prepare two contrasting songs plus aural and sight-singing checks; instrumentalists prepare two contrasting selections plus scales, arpeggios, and sight-reading
Decisions
•The audition determines admission to the program and is also used for scholarship consideration
