Audition Process
•Bullet: All BA Theatre applicants complete an informal faculty interview about their theatre experience, expectations, and goals
•Bullet: Choose February 6, February 15, or March 5, 2027 in the application
•Bullet: Applicants may opt into a theatre scholarship audition on the same date as the required interview
•Bullet: Acting applicants prepare two contrasting monologues; design and production applicants may bring pictures of work, artwork, production notebooks, or other relevant materials
Audition Expectations
•Bullet: Request approval from Conservatory Admissions at cadmissions@umkc.edu
•Bullet: Approved audition videos are due February 26, 2027
•Bullet: Full scholarship consideration may not be available for video auditions; on-campus participation is strongly advised
