Audition Process
•All BA Theatre applicants complete an informal faculty interview about their theatre experience, expectations, and goals
•Choose February 6, February 15, or March 5, 2027 in the application
•Applicants may opt into a theatre scholarship audition on the same date as the required interview
•Acting applicants prepare two contrasting monologues; design and production applicants may bring pictures of work, artwork, production notebooks, or other relevant materials
Audition Expectations
•Request approval from Conservatory Admissions at cadmissions@umkc.edu
•Approved audition videos are due February 26, 2027
•Full scholarship consideration may not be available for video auditions; on-campus participation is strongly advised
