•Performance emphasis includes acting, directing, scene study, stage movement, vocal performance, musical theatre performance, stage combat, improvisation, and American musicals
•Performance students take introductory and advanced classes in theatre history, script analysis, directing, storytelling, folklore, performance art, and theatre of the oppressed
Performance & Productions
•Students perform in faculty-directed musicals and plays, student-directed shows, ensembles, and workshops
•College credit may be earned for MU Theatre productions, World Theatre Workshop, Missouri Playwrights Workshop, and other campus performance projects
•Rhynsburger Theatre is a 278-seat proscenium theatre with adjacent production shops
•Studio 4 is a flexible black box theatre that seats up to 125
