•Bullet: 47-credit core curriculum: four-semester Theory sequence (MUSIC 121–222), Ear Training and Sight Singing (MUSIC 123–124, 223–224), Keyboard Skills (MUSIC 131–132), and Music History spanning Medieval to Baroque, Classical to Modern, and Seminar in World Music
•Bullet: Studies led by David Giessow (choral director, juries coordinator), Ryan Noe (UMass Boston Orchestra conductor), Peter Janson (Jazz Ensembles director, guitar studies), and Timothy McFarland (piano studies)
•Bullet: Minimum 2.5 GPA in major coursework with no grade below C-; at least 15 major credits must be completed at UMass Boston
