Repertoire List
•Brass: prepare two contrasting etudes or solo selections that showcase lyrical playing and technique; trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, and tuba applicants follow the brass-area requirements
•Woodwinds: prepare two contrasting etudes or solo pieces plus the required major and chromatic scales for your instrument; flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and saxophone applicants follow the woodwind-area requirements
•Strings: prepare two to three contrasting repertoire selections, typically including a movement of solo Bach and a concerto movement; violin, viola, cello, double bass, and classical guitar applicants follow the strings-area requirements
•Percussion: prepare one two- or four-mallet keyboard work, one snare-drum work, and snare-drum rudiments; optional repertoire may include multiple-percussion, timpani, or drum-set styles
•Piano accompaniment is not required for brass or strings auditions
