Training
•Applied lessons in classical or jazz and commercial performance, ensemble participation, music theory and history, internships, and a senior production project connect musical judgment to technical practice.
Professional Development
•Faculty Michael Schulze, Ted Stein, and Ryan Fiegl bring recording, production, and music-technology experience to the program. Students graduate with a portfolio and the critical listening, problem-solving, creativity, and emotional intelligence needed for work as producers, engineers, artists, and collaborators.

•Every concert venue in the Newman Center is directly linked to Lamont's recording studio, giving students access to varied sound environments and collaborative recording work.
