Students do it all: act, design, build, direct, manage, and produce
Small classes led by engaged faculty who are practicing theatre professionals
Hands-on experience creating full productions from all periods and genres
State-of-the-art rehearsal and performance spaces at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts
PERFORMANCE & PRODUCTIONS
Two fully-realized departmental productions each quarter
Senior capstone project as principal artist (actor, director, designer, playwright, etc.)
All DU students are invited to audition for theatre productions

DEGREE FLEXIBILITY
48 credit hours for the theatre major (24 for the minor)
Students may focus on one area (performance, design, directing) beginning in their third year
