Audition Day Format
•Audition Day runs approximately 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM on campus
•Short performance on your principal instrument or voice
•Brief sight-singing and pitch-matching assessment (music majors)
•A current UD student (Flyer Friend) guides you through the day
Interview
•Interview with a music therapy faculty member
•Be prepared to discuss previous volunteer experience with children or adults with disabilities, illnesses, or special needs
•Assessment of functional music skills (e.g., guitar, piano)
Admission Requirements
•Must be admitted to the university AND accepted by the Department of Music
•Departmental acceptance requires audition, interview, and essay
