Audition Day Format
•Audition Day runs approximately 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM on campus
•Short performance/musical skills demonstration in your chosen area
•Brief sight-singing and pitch-matching assessment (music majors)
•Meet faculty, attend sessions on degree programs, financial aid, and performance opportunities
•A current UD student (Flyer Friend) guides you through the day
Interview
•Interview with at least one faculty member in your chosen degree area
•Covers previous music experience and career goals
•Music education applicants discuss teaching interest and career goals as part of the degree-area interview
Admission Requirements
•Must be admitted to the university AND accepted by the Department of Music
•Departmental acceptance requires audition, interview, and essay
