Audition Day Format
•Audition Day runs approximately 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM on campus
•Composition applicants are evaluated through a portfolio review and faculty interview rather than a performance audition
•Meet faculty, attend sessions on degree programs, financial aid, and performance opportunities
•A current UD student (Flyer Friend) guides you through the day
Portfolio Review & Interview
•Interview with a composition faculty member who reviews your portfolio of composition/arranging work
•Bring recordings of your works if possible
Admission Requirements
•Must be admitted to the university AND accepted by the Department of Music
•Departmental acceptance requires the portfolio review, interview, and essay
