Training
•Bullet: The Media Production concentration requires five production courses: CMM 341 Audio Production, CMM 342 Fundamentals of Video Production, CMM 343 Scriptwriting for Media Production Platforms, CMM 347 Post Production, and a choice of CMM 348 Animation Effects or CMM 445 Media Performance.
•Bullet: The concentration's remaining six elective hours may come from any 300/400-level CMM courses, letting students shape their own film and media focus.
Professional Development
•Bullet: Students can earn CMM 397 Communication Practicum credit through the student-run Flyer TV, Flyer Radio, or Flyer News outlets for applied production work.
Degree Flexibility
•Bullet: The BA requires 34 major credit hours — including CMM 100, 201, 202, 351, and the capstone CMM 491 — on top of the 120-hour Liberal Studies Curriculum, leaving room for a minor or Professional Studies Block.
