•The BA Music is offered through UCA's NASM-accredited Department of Music
Training
•Departmental admission includes an audition in the principal applied area; no student may declare a music major without this audition
•Incoming students complete piano placement and the Basic Musicianship Evaluation as part of departmental screening
•Transfer applicants take examinations in music theory and music literature/history for placement or verification of transfer credits
