TRAINING
•Combines professional acting training with solid grounding in theatre studies and liberal arts education
•Focus on development of the actor's instrument and individual acting styles
•First two years: storytelling, improvisation, scene study, movement and voice
•Third year: study and practice of a variety of acting styles
•Fourth year: screen acting, audition techniques, solo creation, singing, voice-over and stage combat
PERFORMANCE & PRODUCTIONS
•Courses fully integrated with theatre productions
•Students act in shows and work with guest artists and industry professionals
•Limited admission based on individual audition and supplemental application
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
•Arts Co-op program available — 12 months of paid work experience with 90% of graduates receiving job offers within one month
•Tri-Mentorship Program matches final-year BFA students with UBC Alumni industry professionals
•Study abroad opportunities through Go Global international learning programs
