•Bullet: BA Cinema Studies is a writing-intensive world-cinema program spanning Asian, European, and North American traditions alongside Canadian film history and major schools of film theory, delivered through the Department of Theatre and Film alongside the department's production-based BFA programs
•Bullet: The major requires at least 30 upper-level credits (24+ in cinema courses) including the required seminars CINE_V 331 and 445; Honours requires 48 upper-level credits with an added capstone, CINE_V 449
•Bullet: No audition, portfolio, or interview gates admission — entry is through UBC's general application
