Training
•The Voice Performance concentration pairs the BM core with applied voice study, diction, vocal literature, and recital work
•Students study English, Italian, German, and French diction as part of the concentration
•Voice majors work directly with voice faculty and choir leadership during audition and studio training
Performance & Productions
•The department supports 30-plus ensembles including Schola Cantorum and Inspirational Chorale
•Large ensembles perform in the 600-seat Faulkner Performing Arts Center, while chamber and solo events use Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall
•Students and faculty present hundreds of performances each year on and off campus
Professional Development
•The NASM-accredited department includes more than 300 music students and 50 faculty members
•Faculty perform with Opera Fayetteville and other regional professional ensembles
