•BA Music is a liberal-arts music degree inside a NASM-accredited department
•Students train within a department that also supports performance, music education, composition, theory, musicology, conducting, jazz, and music industry studies

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
•Faculty perform with regional groups including Opera Fayetteville and multiple Arkansas-area symphonies
•Students and faculty present hundreds of performances each year on and off campus

•The department is home to more than 300 music students, 50 faculty members, and 30-plus ensembles
•Large ensembles perform in the 600-seat Faulkner Performing Arts Center and smaller concerts take place in Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall
