Training
•The Bachelor of Arts in Music is a flexible liberal-arts degree combining the music core with broad elective study and a world-language requirement
•Students complete music theory, aural skills, music history, class piano, and applied lessons
•The BA suits students pursuing music alongside another field, graduate study, or careers beyond performance
Performance & Productions
•Students participate in the department's 30-plus ensembles, including Razorback Chorus, bands, and orchestra
•Large ensembles perform in the 600-seat Faulkner Performing Arts Center, while chamber and solo events use Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall
Professional Development
•The NASM-accredited Department of Music includes more than 300 music students and 50 faculty members
•A minor in music and a Certificate of Proficiency in Music Industry are also available to UARK students
