•Ear-training may be part of the audition process

•BA Music students only need the department music application when seeking scholarship consideration
•The music application asks for musical background, two recommendation contacts, and an audition date

•Private study for BA in Music requirements begins after studio placement
What's The Process
SCHOLARSHIP AUDITION
•BA Music students are not required to audition for admission to the degree
•Students who want music scholarship consideration may apply to the department and audition
•On rare occasion, virtual auditions are allowed for applicants in need
VOICE DAY FORMAT
•Voice audition day begins around 9:00 a.m.
•The day includes faculty meet-and-greets, campus tours, choir rehearsals, and joint voice studio classes
•Singers perform for at least one choir director and two voice faculty members
