Voice
•Two contrasting songs of the student's choice
•Song 1: a hymn or sacred classic (e.g., "The Lord's Prayer" by Malotte or Ave Maria); students with formal vocal training may substitute a classical or musical-theatre selection
•Song 2: a worship/Christian contemporary song in a contrasting style
Instrumental (guitar, brass, strings, woodwinds, percussion/drum set)
•Two contrasting pieces of the student's choice from sheet music or a fake book/chart
•At least one piece in modern worship/Christian contemporary, rock, folk, or country style; a classical piece is also an option
•Demonstrate one or more of: scales and arpeggios, improvising over charts, composition/songwriting, or media production featuring the instrument
Piano
•Two contrasting pieces from a fake book or chord chart
•At least one in Christian contemporary/worship, jazz, rock/pop, country, blues, or gospel/R&B; a Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th-century, or virtuosic hymn arrangement may serve as the second work
•Demonstrate one or more of: scales and arpeggios, chord progressions, improvising over charts, or composition/songwriting/media production featuring piano or synth (student provides a synth keyboard for a live audition)
