Program Highlights
PROGRAM RECOGNITION
•Professional BFA degree accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST)
•Interdisciplinary training across acting, dance, and vocal performance
TRAINING & PRODUCTIONS
•Perform in fully realized productions of musicals and plays, both classic and contemporary
•Get involved in theatre productions as early as freshman year
•Four departmental productions each year
•Train in the newly renovated Starcher Hall
CURRICULUM
•Coursework includes Acting, Voice, Movement, Directing, Musical Theatre History, Stagecraft, Makeup, and Ensemble Singing
•Strong liberal arts foundation alongside professional training
CAREER PREPARATION
•Graduates have established careers in professional and regional theatre, television, film, national tours, and cruise ships
•Audition for professional summer work opportunities
•Alumni have gone on to top graduate programs worldwide
