Three Contrasting Selections
•Prepare three classical selections, or two classical selections plus one lyric, non-belt musical theatre selection
•Classical choices may include art songs, arranged folk songs or spirituals, and faculty-approved arias
•Include at least one selection in English and at least one classical selection in a foreign language
•All selections must be published and memorized
What to Avoid
•Do not use pop, R&B, rock, contemporary gospel, or other styles normally sung with amplification
•Do not sing a cappella unless the work is a published unaccompanied piece
•Do not present only the applicant's part from a four-part choral arrangement
•Pre-recorded accompaniment is allowed only for an online audition
Sight-Reading
•Applicants may be asked to sight-read during the audition
