TRAINING
First year: directing theory, visual language, conceptual production book, directing 10-minute plays
Second year: advanced theory, design courses (lighting, scenic, costume), assisting faculty/guest directors on mainstage
Third year: Directing Practicum with acting students, Devised Theater, directing one-act plays
Fourth year: Directing Thesis — fully produced play within the mainstage season, plus Keys to the Kingdom student-programmed season
Director's Festival provides laboratory setting for experimenting with individual style and methodology
Stage management training through the School of Design and Production

DEGREE FLEXIBILITY
