•22-credit undergraduate certificate built on a 14-credit core: Playscript Analysis, Orientation to Design, Orientation to Technology, Drafting for the Theatre and Individual Performance in Theatre credit
•Three electives chosen from a 20-course list spanning scenic, costume, lighting and sound design, scene painting, digital rendering, properties, costume technology and stage management
•Taught in the School of Theatre Arts and Dance, whose design and lighting labs and fully equipped theatres support the design/tech curriculum
Degree Flexibility
•Can be added alongside most other university majors — a credentialed route into technical theatre without committing to the BFA
