Training
•18-credit-hour minor. Required core (9 credits): Playscript Analysis, Elements of Design for the Stage, and one stagecraft sequence with lab — Scenery, Costume, Lighting & Sound, or Makeup & Wardrobe.
•A further 9 elective credits are chosen from the Design & Technical Production concentration's focus areas — Scenery, Lighting, Costumes, Hair & Makeup, Sound, or Stage Management — with advisor approval, letting a minor specialize in one production discipline while still surveying the others.
Facilities
•Minors train and work alongside BFA Design & Technical Production majors in the School of Theatre's scene shop, costume shop, and light lab, and can staff crews across the department's 8-show mainstage season each year.
