Training
•18-credit-hour minor with at least 9 hours at or above the 200 level. Required core (9 credits): Playscript Analysis, Elements of Design for the Stage, and one course chosen from Ensemble-Based Physical Theatre, Topics in Theatre for Social Change, Variable Topics in Global Performance and Theatre, or Devised Theatre — giving every minor a grounding in physical/devised or socially engaged performance work.
•The remaining 9 elective credits draw from across the department's undergraduate curriculum: acting, stagecraft, theatre history, playwriting, directing, and specialized topics offerings that have covered puppetry and musical theatre; additional courses can count with instructor permission.
