Video/Portfolio Review

A video/portfolio of choreographic work is required as part of the graduate application, submitted with the Graduate School application by the November 15 priority deadline.

Submitted alongside a personal statement, CV/resume, writing sample, and three letters of recommendation.

The Department of Dance reviews these application materials in a first round of selections made in December.

Selected applicants are invited to the in-person campus audition held in January.

Graduate applicants should follow UNCG Graduate School requirements for the relevant dance program.

Program entry for the in-residence MA and MFA is fall only.

Audition Process

Graduate in-person auditions are by invitation.

A first round of selections is made in December before selected applicants are invited to campus.

On-campus auditions are held in January at UNCG.
