•Nationally recognized BFA in Musical Theatre — rigorous, performance-based training designed for students seriously pursuing musical theatre performance as their occupation
•Pre-professional, conservatory-style training housed within a comprehensive university experience
Training
•Intensive training from first year: acting, dance, voice, movement, musicianship, acting for the camera, stage combat, Shakespeare, dialects, theatre history, technical theatre
•Dedicated Musical Theatre Voice (7 levels), Musicianship for Musical Theatre (2 levels), Acting Studios (4 levels)
•Dance training in ballet, jazz, tap, African dance, and traditional/contemporary musical theatre styles
•8 mainstage shows per year with expert faculty and world-class guest artists
