•UNCG's School of Dance is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD), accredited since 2000.
Training
•Audition-based BFA concentration in dance as an art form, requiring 120 credit hours including a minimum of 78 in Dance (DCE) courses and at least 36 credits at the 300 level or above.
•Central coursework spans contemporary dance, African dance, jazz, ballet, choreography, and performance.
•Requires an overall 2.75 GPA in courses taken at UNC Greensboro.
Performance & Productions
•The School of Dance produces 10–12 concerts each year, with undergraduate-choreographed work showcased in three to four concerts annually.

•Melanie Greene — 2017 Bessie Award recipient for Outstanding Performance with Skeleton Architecture (UNCG MFA Choreography).
•Chelsea Hilding — Assistant Professor of Dance at Wake Forest University (UNCG MFA Choreography, 2022).
