Training
•Liberal-arts dance studies track requiring a minimum of 50 Dance (DCE) credits within a broad humanities framework.
•Studio technique in contemporary dance, ballet, and African dance, plus electives in tap, jazz, capoeira, dance technology, and somatic practices.
•Core coursework spans dance history, improvisation/choreography, dance production, and somatics, culminating in a senior capstone.
Performance & Productions
•The School of Dance stages 10–12 concerts each year, with extensive performance opportunities for undergraduate dancers.

•Graduates pursue careers in performance and choreography as well as arts administration, dance wellness, somatics, and movement analysis.
