•Graduate School application is used alongside direct departmental material review and interview scheduling

Enrollment

•Accepted for first year only — continuation into years 2 and 3 subject to MFA faculty approval

•NC residency strongly encouraged after year 1 to reduce tuition costs

What's The Process

Audition Process

•Complete the online UNC Chapel Hill Graduate School application

•Send resume, statement of purpose, three letters of recommendation, and transcript directly to Michael Rolleri

•Arrange a personal interview and on-campus visit with Michael Rolleri

•Present a portfolio during the visit; selection is based on demonstrated ability, portfolio presentation, and interview

•LiNK, SETC, and USITT convention interviews may be available in March, but serious applicants should plan an earlier on-campus visit
