Audition Process
•Bullet: Complete the UNC Chapel Hill Graduate School application
•Bullet: Once application materials are received, the department contacts applicants to schedule an audition
•Bullet: Direct-apply auditions are by appointment in Chapel Hill, New York City, or Chicago
•Bullet: URTA National Unified Auditions are also accepted
Audition Expectations
•Bullet: Prepare two contrasting monologues: one classical and one contemporary
•Bullet: Keep both monologues combined to no more than 3 minutes
•Bullet: Applicants who sing may include a brief optional a cappella selection
