Audition Process
•Complete the UNC Chapel Hill Graduate School application
•Once application materials are received, the department contacts applicants to schedule an audition
•Direct-apply auditions are by appointment in Chapel Hill, New York City, or Chicago
•URTA National Unified Auditions are also accepted
Audition Expectations
•Prepare two contrasting monologues: one classical and one contemporary
•Keep both monologues combined to no more than 3 minutes
•Applicants who sing may include a brief optional a cappella selection
