Songs

Two Memorized Songs with Piano Accompaniment

•One from the Broadway/musical theatre repertoire

•One from musical theatre or classical repertoire

•Must sing to piano accompaniment — no a cappella

•Bring sheet music in the correct key for the accompanist

Monologues

One Memorized Monologue

•Approximately one minute in length

Audition Process

•Apply to UNC Pembroke and complete the music department application

•All prospective music majors must audition as part of admission

•Current music page lists Saturday audition dates as February 21, March 7, April 11, and May 2 without publishing the application-cycle year

•You will be asked to sight-read a short selection

•A dance call is not required for admission
