All BFA-intending students begin in the BA Theatre program

Transfer students should indicate interest in advanced placement in technique and studio courses

Transfer Pathway

University of Montana admits all students, including transfers, to the BA first, then auditions them into the BFA after the first year. Transfers are encouraged to submit an audition or portfolio for advanced placement in technique and studio courses, so prior training can affect where you start.

Audition Process

BFA Musical Theatre concentration audition takes place at end of first year of study
