•SMTD publishes this exact degree or applied-area option in its current undergraduate catalog and admission requirements.

•The curriculum combines university study with conservatory-level studio, musicianship, ensemble, and performance work.
•Upload to your SMTD Artistic Profile the following unedited videos. Each item on the following list may be taped separately, but without internal edits. All solo literature must be performed from memory:
Performance & Productions
•Live Audition Requirements (in-person or online)
•Applicants who advance are evaluated by SMTD faculty through the format and repertoire rules published for Harp.
Degree Flexibility
•Students apply through the Common Application and complete an SMTD Artistic Profile for the selected degree and area.
•The December 1 Artistic Profile deadline applies to first-year undergraduate SMTD applicants for Fall 2027.
•The BMA performance curriculum is approximately 50% SMTD and 50% liberal arts, with liberal-arts study tailored to the student’s interests.
•BMA students elect a performance or multidisciplinary track while maintaining applied studio and ensemble study.
