•Prepare audition repertoire for your primary instrument using UMBC's instrument-specific audition requirements page
•Piano: two memorized contrasting pieces plus all major/minor scales and arpeggios
•Strings and classical guitar: two contrasting pieces or movements
•For violin scholarship consideration, prepare at least one concerto movement and one movement of an unaccompanied Bach sonata or partita
•For viola scholarship consideration, both audition movements should be memorized
•For cello scholarship consideration, prepare at least one concerto movement and one movement of an unaccompanied Bach sonata
•Woodwinds, brass, and percussion: instrument-specific repertoire, scales/technique, and sight-reading
•Jazz instrumentalists: two prepared pieces, scales/arpeggios, and sight-reading; Jazz Performance applicants must include improvisation
