TWO CONTRASTING SONGS
•Perform two contrasting songs from memory
•One song should be in the classical style, such as an art song or aria
•Second song may be contrasting classical or another style, including musical theater, spiritual, jazz, or folk song arranged for voice and piano
Repertoire
•Songs may be in any language
•One song in a foreign language is preferred for performance majors
•Selections should be appropriate to current music and vocal abilities and demonstrate potential success in the degree program
•If unsure of appropriate repertoire, consult your choir director or email a voice faculty member
