TWO CONTRASTING SONGS, 32 bars or 1:00-1:30 each

Two songs that contrast in style, tempo, or era
Each selection should be 32 bars or 1:00-1:30 in length
Must sing to musical accompaniment — no a cappella
Monologues

ONE MONOLOGUE, 1 min max

One monologue from a published play
Maximum 1 minute in length
Dance

ONE DANCE VIDEO, 1 min max

Original choreography or learned choreography
Maximum 1 minute in length
Any dance style accepted

ELIGIBILITY

Must be a declared major in Theatre, Music, or Dance at UK
Incoming freshmen may also audition
Maintain 3.0 GPA in major courses to remain in the certificate program

CERTIFICATE STRUCTURE

12 credit hours — interdisciplinary across Theatre, Music, and Dance departments
Theatre/Dance/Voice majors can count up to 5 credit hours toward their major requirements
