What's The Process

AUDITION FORMAT

In-person audition on campus at the School of Music
Perform two contrasting vocal selections with provided accompanist
Sight singing and rhythm/tonal memory assessment included
Practice rooms available in the Fine Arts Building before your audition

HOW TO REGISTER

Apply to UK and select "Music Major" (classified as Pre-Music pending audition)
Register for audition via JotForm at the School of Music website
Confirmation email sent 1-2 weeks before your chosen date

RESULTS

Notification by mail after all prospective students in your area have been heard
Auditions completed in early March, notices sent a few weeks after
Scholarship decisions by April 15
