What's The Process
AUDITION FORMAT
•In-person audition on campus at the School of Music
•Perform two contrasting vocal selections with provided accompanist
•Sight singing and rhythm/tonal memory assessment included
•Practice rooms available in the Fine Arts Building before your audition
HOW TO REGISTER
•Apply to UK and select "Music Major" (classified as Pre-Music pending audition)
•Register for audition via JotForm at the School of Music website
•Confirmation email sent 1-2 weeks before your chosen date
RESULTS
•Notification by mail after all prospective students in your area have been heard
•Auditions completed in early March, notices sent a few weeks after
•Scholarship decisions by April 15
