Audition Process
•Apply to UK and select "Music Major" (classified as Pre-Music pending audition)
•Register for audition via JotForm at the School of Music website
•Confirmation email sent 1-2 weeks before your chosen date
Audition Expectations
•In-person audition on campus at the Singletary Center for the Arts Recital Hall
•Perform two contrasting vocal selections with provided accompanist
•Sight singing and rhythm/tonal memory assessment included
•Arrive 30 minutes before scheduled audition time
•Practice rooms available in the Fine Arts Building
Decisions
•Notification by mail after all prospective students in your area have been heard
•Auditions completed in early March, notices sent a few weeks after
•Scholarship decisions by April 15
